This image shows an ornate stone Celtic cross gravestone. The cross features intricate knotwork designs, a common motif in Celtic art, emphasizing circular forms and interlacing patterns. The inscription on the gravestone commemorates individuals named Ronald S.F. Colt and Jean Cardin F.H. Colt. It mentions that Ronald S.F. Colt died on 22 May 1936 and was interred at the location of the gravestone. Jean died on 10 May 1938 at the age of 71 years. The stone cross stands before a wall covered with some ivy and is surrounded by verdant vegetation, likely located in a serene cemetery setting.

Edinburg contains many gems and whether being a Christian or not, the flair of churches and relicts always has a certain attraction. Around the Scottish Episcopal Church at Prince Street I found this Celtic cross reminding on past times where these symbols were more frequent, hailing from the ancient ones and times hundreds of years ago.
