The image depicts an urban street scene on an overcast day. The setting includes a cobblestone paved foreground leading to a zebra crossing and a road. To the right, there's a bus stop with a transparent shelter, and next to it, a small structure, possibly an electrical or utility cabinet.

In the background, there are several trees and a large modern building, likely an office or institutional structure, with reflective windows. Above the scene, the sun softly filters through a hazy sky, adding a muted brightness to the overall gloomy weather conditions. Additionally, there is a road sign indicating a caution likely for a pedestrian crossing, and various street lamps are visible.

An early Saturday morning in Bonn in front of the "Haus der Geschichte", located at the Willy-Brandt-Allee 14 in 53113 Bonn, Germany. While the fog still resides on the iconic -tower, our journey into German history was just about to begin...

The "Haus der Geschichte" features the history of the young Bundesrepublik Deutschland (BRD) from the aftermath of World War II to the 21nd century, dealing with history and lessons we possibly have learnt from it - or people who wrote history and contributed their part to it.

Wandering through this museum shows a great cross-section between the decades of the German republic which was divided until the late 80's and finally was able to reform as one nation!
