A triangular wooden hut with a moss-covered thatched roof sits in a grassy field. The hut features a red-painted wooden door with a white diamond-shaped window and a white upward arrow decoration. Adjacent to the hut, a pebble spiral pattern decorates the ground. A muted, overcast sky and faint outlines of distant vegetation complete the scene.

When venturing throughout the area of Nørre Nebel and turning towards Nymindegab Strand you will find 3 small thatched huts at the bottom of Ringkøbing Fjord.

The "Esehusene" are situated below Nymindegab Kro. The houses were used for fishing equipment and as home for the women "esepigerne" who were reparing the fishing equipment and preparing the bait (in Danish=Es).
